Australian-owned consultancy, Capability Partners Asset Management, relies on the skills and expertise of Australian Defence Force veterans to deliver tailored asset management solutions to businesses across a range of industries.

The specialist consultancy was founded in 2007, by Peter Kohler and Robert Enchelmaier, with a vision to improve asset management awareness across Australia.

Kohler said the signification technical, organisational and security knowledge of their predominantly veteran workforce was key to helping businesses enhance asset performance and asset management.

“We are passionate about asset management education, and aim to improve businesses’ internal asset management capabilities,” Kohler said.

“Currently we provide tailored asset management solutions to 30 businesses in the defence, health, utilities, transport, infrastructure and mining sectors. In Defence, we embed asset management experts within ADF organisations, and provide them with specialist advice and technical training, with the intent to maximise the ADF’s overall capability.”

Based in Sydney, Capability Partners Asset Management has 10 employees and sub-contractors, as well as a large technical support network. When a contract requires supplementary skill sets, Capability Partners forms strategic partnerships with other consultancies, to provide the best possible outcomes to clients.

Kohler said joining Raytheon Australia’s Capability Plus program would help the consultancy business continue to grow.

“We are focused on strengthening our existing partnerships and are keen to establish new, strategic relationships, in order to continue providing valuable services to government agencies and their service providers,” he said.

“Being a member of the Capability Plus program will broaden our reach across the defence industry, ensuring we can continue to support challenging and rewarding projects.”
