Australian veteran-owned company Mellori Solutions brings a highly strategic and real-world approach to electromagnetic warfare, or EW, testing, training and technology.
Founded in 2000 by Laurie Koster and Phil Guy, Mellori Solutions helps EW practitioners build skills, confidence, and a sharp, strategic edge when operating across this demanding environment.
Headquartered in Nowra in New South Wales, Mellori Solutions also has offices in Adelaide, South Australia and in Toowoomba, Queensland.
According to General Manager David Devine, Mellori Solutions’ aim is to equip Australia with world-leading sovereign EW capability to mitigate emerging threats.
“This vital work ensures that the Australian Defence Force and its allies remain prepared, and one step ahead in an ever-evolving world,” said Devine, who has extensive operational experience after serving in both the Australian and British armies.
Devine said another key aspect of the company’s expertise was its involvement in delivering “Spectrum Awareness” training and EW theory courses.
“Dominating the electromagnetic spectrum is crucial,” said Devine.
“By empowering the ADF with advanced tools and knowledge, Mellori Solutions enables defence personnel to prevail in the electromagnetic spectrum with confidence and agility, which is critical for maintaining an edge in modern warfare.”
Mellori Solutions, an Alkath Group company, will work with Raytheon Australia to deliver EW systems training services for the Australian Army’s Project Land 555 Phase 6.
“It’s a great opportunity to work alongside Raytheon Australia on such a critical project,” said Devine.
“And our inclusion as a new Raytheon Australia’s Capability Plus member is a testament to our commitment and know-how in electromagnetic warfare. The collaboration will amplify Australia's EW capabilities, ensuring our nation and its allies are well-prepared to face and overcome current and future challenges of an increasingly uncertain world.”
