
Andrew Kinton
General Counsel
Andrew Kinton is Raytheon Australia’s General Counsel.
As General Counsel, Andrew Kinton is Company Secretary and leads the Legal, Ethics and Global Trade functions.
Andrew is based in Canberra and is responsible for the management and leadership of Raytheon Australia’s legal and ethics functions.
Andrew is an experienced commercial lawyer with a background in the management of organisational legal risk through the provision of in-house legal support to multi-national companies operating in Australia and Asia. Prior to joining Raytheon Australia, Andrew was responsible for the management of a team of legal professionals supporting the Asia-Pacific businesses of a US listed multi-national technology services company. He has also previously served as the General Counsel of a large Australian services company.
A former Major in the Australian Army, Andrew is a graduate of the Royal Military College Duntroon and his military service included regimental, training, and representational postings in Australia and overseas.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University and is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
