Anita Vardanega is the Chief Financial Officer for Raytheon Australia.

As the Chief Financial Officer, Anita is responsible for Raytheon Australia’s financial operations, partnering with the Executive Leadership Team to set the strategic objectives that drive financial performance, leading the wider finance organisation to ensure Raytheon Australia delivers on its financial commitments.

Anita joined the organisation in September 2020 as the Head of Finance, responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and project accounting, and played a key role in the later stages of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation.

Prior to joining Raytheon Australia, Anita held several positions within the Defence industry including Deputy CFO at Leidos, Business Operations Manager for Leidos CP Product Line, and Head of Finance and Administration for KBR. In these roles, Anita worked on large contract pricing and re-negotiation, ERP remediation, process transformation, mergers and acquisition, and the setup of the key joint venture, the Naval Shipbuilding College. Anita also spent time working for the Federal Government in budget development and management accounting across several agencies, within the education sector in a finance leadership role and, in early career, worked in tax consulting.

Anita recently served on the Board of YWCA Canberra, a not-forprofit focusing on children’s services, community development, housing, youth engagement, education, training, and advocacy.

Anita holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University, majoring in accounting and management. She is a Certified Practicing Accountant and Prince 2 Practitioner in project management.
