Head of Government Relations
Danielle DeSantis is the Head of Government Relations for Raytheon Australia.
Danielle was previously the Director of Marketing and Communications, following a year as the Strategy Director within the Growth team where she supported strategic customer and government engagement activities. Prior to this, Danielle was the Director of Industry Engagement within the Contracts and Supply Chain team, leading the company’s Australian Industry Capability and
Global Supply Chain efforts.
Previously, Danielle was Raytheon Australia’s Director of Campaigns and Public Affairs, and the Director of Communications for the Air Warfare Destroyer (AWD) Alliance. During her time on the AWD program, Danielle led the government relations and communications efforts for the AWD reform strategy in 2015, managing strategic initiatives that helped improve the public reputation of the AWD program.
Danielle’s work on the AWD program was preceded by her time as Communications Manager with responsibility for media and external communications, as well as strategic communications to support the company’s product lines.
Prior to joining Raytheon Australia, Danielle was based in Raytheon’s UK office from 2007–2010, where she was the Head of Marketing for Raytheon UK. Danielle joined Raytheon company in 2006 as part of the Communications Leadership Program.
Danielle has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from the Pennsylvania State University.
