
Jake Jacobsen
General Manager, Defence Support Systems
Jake (Jorgen) Jacobsen is the General Manager for Raytheon Australia’s Defence Support Systems product line, responsible for the execution and expansion of a portfolio of programs across Advanced Test and Training Environments, Aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), Flight Simulation, Asset Management, Very Low Frequency Communications and Space Domain Awareness.
Prior to his current role, Jake held the positions of Director Underwater Systems and Acting General Manager Underwater Systems.
Jake commenced with Raytheon Australia in 2000 in the hardware engineering department, before taking on roles within Information Technology, Continuous Improvement, Facilities and Operations. Jake has held numerous program management and leadership roles within Raytheon Australia, including Program Manager on the Air Warfare Destroyer, Collins Submarine Communication Modernisation Program and Collins Submarine Sustainment.
Before joining Raytheon Australia, Jake served 11 years in the Royal Australian Navy, specialising in electronic tactical systems. Jake holds an Associate Diploma of Engineering and a Diploma of Project Management. Jake is a graduate of the Raytheon Business Leadership Program and recipient of Raytheon Australia’s Managing Directors Excellence Award (2022) and Program Management Award (2017).
