Raytheon Australia Leadership

Tait Gregson is the Chief of Staff for Raytheon Australia, responsible for providing strategic leadership of the Managing Director’s Office. This includes the alignment and prioritisation of strategic initiatives and business operations between the Managing Director’s Office and the organisation’s functions and product lines, as well as supporting the development of the company strategy, and management and alignment of operational reporting.

Previously, Tait was the director of the Weapons product line, after holding the role of Director Business Development within the Growth function, where he was responsible for managing priorities for captures and strategy efforts. Tait joined Raytheon Australia in September 2003, holding a number of functional roles before joining the business development team in 2007, where he supported program planning and bid development on various company opportunities. In 2012, Tait was a full-time Raytheon Six Sigma Expert working to support company-wide initiatives, as well as continuous improvement activities. Tait achieved his Six Sigma Expert certification in June 2015.

Following management of Raytheon Australia’s cyber programs, Tait was appointed as Land 19 Phase 7B Program Manager and Bid Manager during the capture and offer definition phases, supporting the Australian Army in defining the solution for Australia’s Short Range Ground Based Air Defence program. During the Land 19 Phase 7B program, Tait completed a secondment in Norway as the KONGSBERG Liaison.

Tait is a Certified Practicing Project Manager through the Australian Institute of Project Management and has bachelor’s degrees in engineering and information technology from the Australian National University.
